Transforming conflict
A Deepening the Foundation Training
At this training you will:
- Learn about the NVC approach to resolving inner conflict
- Explore the “Yes/No” dance floor and Stage 2 of the “13 Steps Dance Floor”
- In conflicts with others, learn how to remain centred and break deadlocks
- Develop your fluency with requests
- Increase your awareness of systemic contributors to conflict
- Have plenty of practice in using the process with your own conflict situations
- Renew and improve the skills learnt in the Foundation Training
- Begin exploring needs-based mediation
Preparation: Completion of 2 day NVC Foundation Training
Each weekend:
- Uses an experiential style with real life examples
- Is challenging, moving, supportive and fun.
- Like learning a foreign language, full fluency comes gradually, as understanding and practice integrate.

Laura Harvey is a certified trainer with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication and offers consultancy in organisations, and training and coaching to individuals and teams. Nonviolent communication is used in more than 30 countries in homes, businesses, health care settings, schools, prisons, charities, social services, counselling and healing work with people of all ages.
