An environment for reflection, exploration and community

From time to time Shared Space offers retreat days – both open and in specific areas of the creative arts. These are designed to meet needs for meaning, truth, mourning, exploration, mystery and fun.

Post pandemic, in a global climate emergency, with war in the Ukraine and many other communities, in a cost of living crisis, and in the wake of the Black Lives Matter and Me To movements we will gather  – both to celebrate our reconnection in person and to face the place we find ourselves in. What does living in the times mean to us as individuals and as a local and global community.

Come and explore, express, listen, mourn, break bread with others and be in community for this connective and spacious retreat.

Each day contains stimulus, inspiration and opportunities for self-reflection. Everything is optional and I aim to work in a trauma aware way.

There will be opportunities for engagement for participants who want to learn with others, and privacy for those who prefer to simply take the opportunity of new inspiration and a quiet, supported space.

Our venue is in beautiful grounds, whilst being within very easy reach of the city of Oxford. There is  a retreat house  for participants wanting to stay overnight or to ring-fence some time to continue to their retreat the following day.
